Zone 0 is the horizontal area within the first 5 ft. around the structure and any outbuildings, attached decks, and stairs.

Home hardening refers to measures taken to reduce a home's vulnerability to wildfires by using fire-resistant materials, clearing vegetation, and preventing embers from entering the home.

Our team worked with CAL FIRE to develop a campaign designed to teach California residents how to harden their homes to comply with the eventual state-mandated Zone 0 policies in the near future.
